Is maintenance required on my timber floor?
All types of hardwood timber floors change colour over time (darken or fade). On average, your timber floor should be maintained every 5-10 years depending on the amount of traffic it receives.

What can I do to keep my floor in the best possible condition?
Excessive exposure to sunlight will cause the colour to change quicker, although the use of rugs, blinds and curtains can reduce the rate of change. Never wear high heel shoes on your flooring and also try to avoid pets with long nails and keep them free of dirt and grit.
